Barrio Intercultural: Sustainable and Equitable Housing in the Face of Climate
This case study seeks to contribute to the analysis of the environmental crisis-housing-social movements framework, focusing on the experiences of the Intercultural Neighborhood – Community of Change of San Martín de los Andes, Argentina. Through the analysis of its origins as a social movement and example of Social Production of the Habitat, until its follow-up during the COVID-19 pandemic, it seeks to deepen the adaptive strategies, both technological and social, that enable its organization. It was found that the proposal of the neighborhood from the exercise of interculturality and sustainability presents a space for multiple reflection to think about alternatives on habitability in the face of climate change.
