The Dancers: A Photo Exhibition by Nina Alovert

The Harriman Institute was privileged to mount an exhibition of works by the noted ballet photographer Nina Alovert, brought to the Institute by New York Plus Plus. Alovert, a native of Leningrad, received her master's degree in history from Leningrad State University. She began following the Kirov Ballet (now the Mariinsky) with her camera in the early 1950s.
