Adaptation of the STEVE Tool (Screening Tool for Estate Environmental
Evaluation) to Sydney Conditions

In Sydney, the STEVE urban climate tool was adapted to evaluate how redevelopment design and vegetation influence local air temperatures and urban heat island intensity. Scenario modeling of the Central Park precinct demonstrates the value of integrating microclimate analysis into urban planning to support heat mitigation and climate-responsive design.
