Financing Mitigation Activities in Developing Countries: Nigeria's Energizing Education Programme (EEP)
This case study accentuates the importance of local effort in planning and implementing mitigation financing in the context of climate action. It reveals that the policy-practice interface is best strengthened through the optimization of climate investment opportunities and the utilization of public resources for demonstrative projects by technical-scientific experts in collaboration with local communities.
