Frank Sysyn, Petro Jacyk Visiting Professor

In the fall of 2009, Professor Frank Sysyn, Director of the Peter Jacyk Centre for Ukrainian Historical Research, Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, University of Alberta, taught two courses as visiting professor in the Columbia History Department. It hardly seems apt to describe someone who teaches so frequently at Columbia as a visitor (he has taught at Columbia for six semesters since 1998).
