Reading the World: A Curriculum Guide to the Film
This guide, designed as a roadmap for collective learning, is intended for activists and higher education educators who wish to explore the documentary Reading the World with learners and community members. The guide grows out of Andréia Lee Davies' master's thesis, supervised by Professor Regina Cortina in the Program in International and Comparative Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. The thesis examines both the film and the broader legacy of Paulo Freire, ultimately developing a pedagogical approach for engaging the documentary in educational settings.
