Coping with the Pandemic: The Dharavi Model
Dharavi, one of the world’s largest informal settlements, was able to handle the COVID-19 pandemic more efficiently than several other large cities. The Dharavi model espoused an approach that was highly grounded, aware of, and adapted itself to local conditions. The key cornerstones of Dharavi’s success are partnerships and convergent action.
