What factors influenced the WGA, SAG-AFTRA strikes against the AMPTP in 2023 and what were the missed opportunities towards reaching an agreement?
This paper analyzes and visualizes both apparent and underlying factors that caused and extended the 2023 Hollywood strikes. It maps both overt and hidden conflict dynamics, along with the network of key individuals involved in the strikes. Additionally, the paper examines ways to ease tensions between parties, identifies potential triggers for future strikes, and proposes solutions to these challenges.
