An Anisotropic Reactive Viscoelastic Model of the Rhesus Macaque Cervix for Studying Cervical Remodeling: Supplementary data
This dataset contains both experimental and numerical data accompanying the manuscript by Duarte-Cordon CA et al., "An Anisotropic Reactive Viscoelastic Model of the Rhesus Macaque Cervix for Studying Cervical Remodeling," https://doi.org/10.1101/2025.05.14.654071, published online on May 21, 2025. The study investigates the time-dependent mechanical properties of the cervix in Rhesus macaques during pregnancy. The experimental data include force-relaxation curves obtained from two mechanical testing methods, spherical indentation and uniaxial tension tests, conducted on ex vivo cervical tissue samples from Rhesus macaques at four gestational time points, using a three-level load-hold protocol. The numerical data comprises finite element files created for each cervical sample using the open-source software FEBio, incorporating the reactive viscoelastic model formulated in the study.
