Relationshapes
Relationshapes is a series of fanzines featuring oral history excerpts, journal prompts, community resource lists, and art-tivites. The project unabashedly centers queer, polyamorous people and relationships. Original artworks on each page consist of digital collages assembled from a variety of textured, hand-painted papers. Relationshapes is both provocative and sweet; it encourages readers to confront heteronormative definitions of love and intimacy, and celebrates the many "forms" of partnerships. With shape and color as its primary visual metaphors, the series hopes to create connections across the spectrum of relationship orientations through playfulness, vulnerability, and community art-making.
