Ferrari, Roberto C.; Mayer, Mateusz

This brochure-style catalogue was published to accompany the exhibition with the same title held in Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library from February 11th to May 10th, 2019. The works discussed and illustrated are: Portrait of Isabella Ricketts, later Mrs. Stanlake Henry Batson, ca. 1800-01, by John Hoppner; Portrait of King George III, early 19th century, by Sir William Beechey and studio; Portrait of Walter Savage Landor, 1838, by William Fisher; and Portrait of Kate La Montagne Butler (Mrs. Nicholas Murray Butler), 1927, by Sir John Lavery.
