Unconstrained Arruda-Boyce Model for FEBio 2 and 3

This FEBio material plugin implements a unconstrained uncoupled isotropic formulation of the constitutive model by Lee et al. (2021). It is a compressible version of Arruda-Boyce 8-chain model (Arruda & Boyce 1993) originally derived for modeling polymers based on Langevin statistc mechanics. It can be used for other isotropic fibrous materials such as biological tissue as well. As any other unconstrained material, it can be combined in a solid mixture with other laws, for example continuous fiber distribution materials. Details can be found in Lee et al. (2021).
