Smile, you're on Candid Camera

In 1993, The Japanese Association of Language Teachers produced a special edition to the use of video. I had been doing workshops around Japan illustrating ways to use short video clips of our teaching to understand better what we were doing and to generate alternatives to compare our usual practices with alternatives. The editor had participated in some of my workshops and invited me to submit an article for the special edition.
