New Sensory Frontiers: Cinesthetic Sensation in Aguirre and McCabe and Mrs. Miller
Through close analysis of scenes from "Aguirre, The Wrath of God" and "McCabe and Mrs. Miller," this paper argues for a style of filmmaking that engages the entire embodied sensorium, opposing the colonialist associations of ocularcentrism.
