Poster abstract:
During AY2018-19, the Columbia University School of Social Work (CSSW) Online Campus launched and piloted a five-session virtual Online Faculty Development Series serving our 200 online faculty and staff nationwide; after a successful pilot, the series has continued in AY2019-20 and AY2020-21. This poster will share details of how this series builds community and fosters innovation, including details about the lightning round teaching & learning showcases, digital badges for series completion, student and alumni presentations, prominent inclusion of adjuncts, free continuing education credits, and participation from School leadership.
