Preserve and Share Your Research
This module in the "From Books to Bytes" series explores the publishing process (both traditional and digital) and explains the ways in which the Libraries offer support and advice for your publishing projects. The video introduces the process of peer review, outlines its benefits and limitations, and provides overviews of: open access publishing, DOIs, and digital publishing more generally. The handouts elaborate on strategies for evaluating and selecting appropriate journals or other media in which to publish, understanding your author rights, and employing new modes of research and scholarship.
