Material for Trust Matters: Race, Relationships, and Achievement in New York City Public Schools
These documents comprise material for Fox-William's mixed-methods dissertation entitled “Trust Matters: Race, Relationships, and Achievement in New York City Public Schools.” This study is comprised of three empirical papers on the topic of student–teacher trust. Quantitative research files provided here include a cleaned dataset of publicly available school-level data from the New York City Department of Education and the New York State Education Department, a programming file, and a codebook in Stata format. Qualitative research files include study instruments and a codebook. This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 1702651.
