Beyond Rashomon--Conceptualizing and describing the teaching act
In 1966 Arno Bellack and colleagues at Teachers College analyzed interactions in social studies classes. Teachers College Press published the results in 1966 in Th e language of the classroom.
Professor Bellack and his colleagues had developed a system to analyze interactions. I adopted it so I could analyze interactions in ESOL classrooms and published the first version of my adaptation in 1977 in the TESOL Quarterly
