Introduction

Stiglitz, Joseph E.; Heymann, Daniel

This chapter is an introduction to "Life After Debt: The Origins and Resolutions of Debt Crisis." The works collected in the volume aim at contributing to searching to diagnose macroeconomic vulnerabilities, designing preventative measures, finding ways to manage critical disturbances if they do develop, and improving the chances of a good "life after debt," as our title goes.
