Coastal City Adaptation in Caribbean Small Island Developing States: The Case of Greater Bridgetown, Barbados
Caribbean coastal cities are among the most vulnerable and exposed to climate related slow onset events such as sea level rise as well as rapid onset extreme events including storm surges and flooding. Stakeholder engagement is fundamental in adapting to climate change and should include the knowledge of local communities, technical-scientific experts and funding from government and international agencies.
