A chronological account of developing and managing the Wan-go HC Weng Documentary Film Collection with over 900 16mm film reels in C.V. Starr East Asian Library, Columbia University from 2012-2026, which involved the donor cultivation, crossing departmental efforts in preservation, digitization and OA, faculty and students engagement, fundraising, international collaboration, and most importantly, our commitment to preserve and unlock the past, inspire and provoke the minds of present and tomorrow.
