LDEO Whitecapping and Wave Data during SO GasEx, Feb-Apr 2008
Measurements of whitecapping and sea state statistics from wave data (WaMoS with overlap from WW3); meteorological/ocean state variables. Location: Southwest Atlantic sector of the Southern Ocean (nominally at 50°S, 40°W, near South Georgia Island). Duration: February 2008 - April 2008. Data are provided in one file containing each variable, with clear headings. Sampling interval is hourly averaged for all instruments.
