Padma Desai Summer Fellowship

The Harriman Institute is pleased to announce the creation of the Padma Desai Summer Fellowship, established by a generous gift from Professor Padma Desai, Gladys and Roland Harriman Professor of Comparative Economic Systems and longtime Harriman faculty member, and her husband Jagdish Bhagwati, University Professor. This endowed fund will support summer research, travel, language training, or internship opportunities for two or more undergraduate and/or graduate students whose interests include Russian and/or Soviet studies.
