11th Columbia Library Symposium StairMaster Optional: Everyday Leadership
A value of academic libraries is the leadership role they take on campus. Be it from the top or the middle, at the entry level or higher ranks, everyone leads. Or do they? Fostering leadership can take place inside or outside of the organization, but barriers exist for both. Courtney Young will discuss opportunities and challenges for a frontline librarian on the path to leadership.
