Beyond Cynical: Mary Daly, Vine Deloria, Jr., and the Rejection of Christianity

Doyle, Elizabeth

This paper engages the theological arguments of feminist Mary Daly and Native American Vine Deloria, Jr. Both conclude that Christianity as it exists must be overturned, though for differing reasons of identity politics. Putting both in conversation with the other makes the study of the rejection of Christianity more intersectional.
