Oral history interview with Estelle Brodman

Brodman, Estelle

Audio of a biographical interview of Estelle Brodman (1914-2007). Brodman was a leading American medical librarian as well as a historian of medicine. She worked successively at Columbia, the National Library of Medicine, and Washington University of St. Louis and held many leadership positions in the Medical Library Association and the Special Libraries Association. The Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Columbia holds 20 linear feet of her papers. The interview was conducted by Mrs. Bertell and others in St. Louis on November 22, 1978.
