Social Welfare: The Privileged and Forgotten Minorities
This issue brief examines the relationship between religious minorities and social welfare in the United States. While many religious minorities provide religion-based welfare, it is uncertain as to whether this is due to religious commitment, government distrust or the negative connotations that can be associated with social welfare.
