Issue Brief on Native American Women Gender Roles and Inequality
Though many forms of discrimination of Native Americans have ended, there is still a presence of oppression and discrimination when considering the lives of the indigenous women. This manifests itself in recent history in the denial of cultured lifestyles, the struggle for basic civil rights, and presently the restrictions to voting, employment, and medical attention.
