Middle Eastern Americans and Social Welfare in the United States
While the overall group of Middle Eastern Americans has above average education and income levels, they also have high levels of poverty and employment of social welfare. This issue brief will look into this contradiction and assess how their demographics, cultural attitudes and immigrant status affects their use of social welfare programs in the United States.
