The Art of Making Children's Dances: A Look Into Doris Humphrey's Early Choreography and Its Impact on Her Technique
Doris Humphrey, the great American modern dance choreographer, worked with children throughout her career. Her observation of the growing body allowed her to build a technique that is not only structurally safe for the human body, but aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
