The Extinct Language of Gurgan: Its Sources and Origins
Gorgani survives solely in the Horufi scriptures of the 14-15th centuries. The language was spoken on the southeastern corner of Caspian Sea. It probably shares more features with the Komisenian/Kōmeshi dialects to its south rather than the Caspian group to its west.
