The Wanting Things Argument Is Bizarre Even by Republican Standards

Mitchell, Lincoln A.

Repblican's continue to promote the idea that Democrats want things (medicare) while Republicans use economic policy to grow the economy (tax cuts for the very rich). This Republican line is the product of the warped relationship between the sophomoric libertarian anti-government wing of the party and the hate-filled Tea Party faction. Republics seem to stick to this rhetoric, even when it isn't winning any votes.
