Re-use and Reproducibility: Opportunities and Challenges

To support the reliability and accuracy of the scientific record, science policy, research infrastructure, and the culture of science must facilitate the sharing of data and code resulting from scientific research, much of which is now produced using computational methods. Though the need to support the reproducibility of computational research is now widely recognized, copyright and other factors present challenges to the development of policies and practices.
