The last volume of this remarkable series reveals, on the part of the authors,
the same critical acumen and patient research that characterised its predecessors.We can only compare it to Picot's Catalogue de la Bibliothèque Rothschild, which set the standard for careful and thorough bibliography, and Pellechet's Catalogue des Incunables, especially as it has been continued by M. Polin. Thanks to these scholars, we have at last a bibliographic method that will stand the test of the time.
