The Price of Inequality
An interview with Joseph Stiglitz, a member of the Berggruen Insitute's 21st Century Council and recipient of the Nobel Prize for economics in 2001. He states that the central thesis of his book "The Price of Inequality" is about economic recovery from recession through austerity measures. He says that U.S. faces problems with the rise in inequality due to its chosen policy. He adds that policy choices such as enforced bankruptcy and antitrust laws can help address inequality.
