Augmenting and Exploiting Auditory Perception for Complex Scene Analysis
I was invited to participate in this workshop that advises DARPA on scientific frontiers; the topic was ways to use technology to enhance individual senses. My talk covers some basics of auditory/acoustic scene analysis in humans and machines, and speculates about future "super sense" augmentations.
