This American Paradise

Riffe, Jason

This work will explore what it means to be a part of society. A society in which those that participate are deemed Human and those that are rejected from society are non-Human. This project reasons that rights are only afforded to those whom society determines are worthy of rights, Humans. From the black American context we question whether it is the case that our global society renders beings as Human or non-Human through the use of violence.
