This issue brief discusses the health disparities among Asian Americans due to cultural/language barriers and socioeconomic status. Varying cultural values and beliefs of diseases also put constrains on these individuals from seeking proper care resulting in diagnosis of diseases in the later stages leading to untreatable conditions.
