“Im Wasser wogt die Lilie” for Male Chorus and Piano.

“Im Wasser wogt die Lilie” is a song composed by A. Elia, based on the poem by August von Platen-Hallermünde (1796-1835) and is in this set of "Fünf neue deutsche lieder." ~~ “Five New German Songs for Male Chorus” is a collection of choral works written for the Indianapolis Liederkranz in April 2014. (All of these pieces were composed during Easter Week in NY). The composer has utilized the poetry of German language writers, some humorous, some serious, and set them to music. German musical societies, Sängerchor, Männerchor, and other singing groups are encouraged to perform these new works.
