Symphonic Poem #2 for Orchestra

Elia, Anthony J.

This short work is one in a series of tone poems for symphony orchestra, written by the composer in late summer 2013. It is written in the tradition of similar works by Franz Liszt, Bedřich Smetana, Mikhail Glinka, and Sergei Rachmaninoff. The composer intended to compose 3 symphonic poems in this set, though may write more. The Symphonic Poem #2 was written with bagpipe in the orchestra.
