Harriman Core Project 2010-2011: Human Rights in the Post-Communist World: Actors, Strategies, and Outcomes

The post-communist region offers a good test bed for advancing these empirical debates about the causes of variation in human rights outcomes and the consequences of different strategies for advancing rights agendas. Human rights outcomes have varied dramatically across these countries as well as within countries over time. Rights are flourishing as never before in some parts of the post-communist world.
