SERVIR West Africa Training Program on Data Stewardship and the CoreTrustSeal Requirements: Session 1, R07 & R08 Requirements

Downs, Robert R.

When preparing to apply for CoreTrustSeal Certification as a trustworthy digital repository, it is important to document how the repository maintains the provenance of digital objects and ensures their authenticity, as described in Requirement R07. It also is important to document the process for depositing resources to the repository and for appraising the deposited resources, including the appraisal criteria, as described in Requirement R08. Documenting the repository's approach to meeting CoreTrustSeal Requirements R07 and R08 is described with examples of how other repositories have addressed these requirements.
