Preparing an application for CoreTrustSeal Certification provides the repository with an opportunity to ensure that it has established a plan for the preservation of its holdings, capabilities for assuring their quality, and a workflow that enables the designated community to understand how the repository will acquire, curate, preserve, and provide access to the resources that the repository has been entrusted to share. The CoreTrustSeal Requirements, R09 Preservation Plan, R10 Quality Assurance, and R11 Workflows, offers guidance for repositories to improve the management of their resources.
