Harriman Institute To Host NEH Summer Institute

A Summer Institute Sponsored by The National Endowment for the Humanities. Building upon a successful NEH Institute of 2009 which dealt with Russian-American cultural contacts, the 2011 institute examines the evolution of America’s “academic” engagement with Eurasia (defined here as including Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Russia/the Soviet Union, Central Asia, and the Caucasus) from the 19th century down to the present.
