The Integration of Nutrition within Extension and Advisory Services (EAS): A Synthesis of Experiences, Lessons, and Recommendations

The purpose of this study was to examine the integration of nutrition and agricultural EAS in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. For the purpose of this report, EAS encompasses all activities aimed at providing information and services needed by farmers and other actors in rural settings, which assist them in developing their own technical, organisational, and management skills and practices, so as to improve their livelihoods and well-being.
