A Cute and Nice Oral History of Dave's Lesbian Bar
A Cute and Nice Oral History of Dave's Lesbian Bar follows the mutual aid origins of Astoria's premiere soon-to-be-opened lesbian bar and queer music venue. The thesis takes the form of an hour-long sound journey intended for an audience of queer people in Astoria, a ten-minute audio portrait of each narrator, and short promotional oral history clips meant to entice audiences to keep listening. Look for the public launch of the project in May 2023!
