Victor Erlich

Victor Erlich, one of the foremost specialists in Slavic literary studies, beloved colleague and mentor, died at his home in Hamden, Conn., on November 29, 2007. He was ninety-three years old. Erlich, a member of the Yale University faculty since 1961, was the B. E. Bensinger Professor Emeritus of Russian Literature.
