Tell Me About That World: Speculative Archive Mixtape Towards a Black Feminist Listening Practice
"Tell Me About That World" Speculative Archive Mixtape, Towards a Black Feminist Listening Practice is an oral history project featuring the narratives of mutual-aid and community care practitioners in New York City. Narrators share stories about the worlds and futures that they are working to produce through their organizing. The thesis builds a mixtape of those dreams and develops a listing practice with which to listen to the mixtape. The listening practice draws particularly upon foundational tenets of Black Feminist Theory & Thought.
